re.crate is a brand of furniture made using reclaimed wine crates and bits and pieces found on the street. For this reason, every piece of furniture is unique with its own history. The pieces’ names come from the vineyards’ boxes they’re made from.

“At re.crate, we believe beautiful and lasting furniture can be made using recycled materials. re.crate aims to go against the mainstream way of thinking of disposable and soul-less products.

We create tables, chest of drawers, cabinets with a narrative: we think that adding in a piece the story of its own creation gives it sense and value.

All re.crate products are made in central London (Fulham, SW6). The wood veneer used is European oak and the glue used is non-toxic PVA.”
