Arthur Schmitt, AKA Tart2000 is an industrial designer specialised in creative design thinking.
Passionate about building the world of tomorrow, he is highly conscious of the responsibility of designers and their impact on society.

His previous projects include innovative solutions against energy poverty in India (Legrand / Helen Hamlyn Centre), a water-powered shower radio, a self-watering modular vertical gardening system, a critically acclaimed steampunk concept phone (O2), a range of furniture made from reclaimed wine crates, a sustainable shopping trolley (TKMaxx) or a random-excuse-generator talking sock-monkey…

Arthur is now working as a freelance designer in Paris.

He is collaborating with design school ENSCI – Les Ateliers on a variety of research projects.
