re.crate is furniture that combines reclaimed wine crates with odds and ends found on the street. Every piece has its own unique history.
re.crate goes against mainstream way of thinking about products as soulless and disposable. The pieces are named for the vineyards that branded their crates. Re-appropriated objects deserve to keep their character, while they become beautiful and lasting furniture.
We have created tables, chests of drawers, and cabinets, with more to come. All re.crate products are made in central London (Fulham, SW6). The wood veneer is European oak and the glue is non-toxic PVA.
